English social service services records are held at the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres.

The application for your records is free and the waiting list is usually 3-4 months. The person for whom you are searching may have also applied to social services, in which case a reunion match would be faster. When your name reaches the top of the list, you are offered a "fee for search" the cost of which is $450.00. If you are on a limited income, you may ask for a lower fee.
