The birth information will be posted on our internet site
Make sure you are registered with the ADR in your province
-We hope the party you are looking for will see it and respond

When will my listing appear on the net?

A-If properly completed as requested, within a few days--if not--NO LISTING will occur

REASONS FOR YOUR LISTING NOT SHOWN--
(1) No current Name
(2) No Current Address
(3) No Current Phone Number listed
(4) No date of birth or birth surname--WE MUST HAVE ONE OR THE OTHER
(5)You put b-mom looking for b-mom, adoptee looking for adoptee etc
(6)Under 18 years of age

Q-Will I get confirmation of my listing?

No-only a thank you when you first submit your listing--its up to you to check and see if it appears and is correct

Q-If you unsure of siblings birthdate; what do I do?

Select Jan 01 & year of birth, include note in comments that you do not know exact birthdate

Q-Why can't I list my child underage?

As we operate in Ontario, we observe our provincial law

Q-How do I verify my birthname?

In most provinces apply for your adoption order
or in BC apply for your statement of live birth

Q-If I don't know my BIRTHNAME can you still do a MATCH?

NO, apply for your adoption order or statement of live birth

Q-What if I made an error while registering--what do I do?

Fill out a new registration and mark it updated

Q-Why don't you have more listings for the year I'm looking for?

(1) Additional and outdated listings are in our more complete off-line data base.
(2)The internet is also a relatively new way of searching and is still catching on

Q-Why have you not called me with a match?

We have not had a response to your listing

Q-What are my rights as a birthfather?

Q-How successful have you been in making connections?

Q-What if the birthdate the adoptee has is false?

THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE

What if I have serious MEDICAL CONCERNS?

Contact the Adoption Disclosure Registry in the Province where the adoption took place
